Tamil Nadu located in the Nilgiri hills, 2240 meters
above sea level. Special attractions here are the Botanical
gardens, Rose garden lake, Palaces (Armamore Palace,
Mysore Palace, Beroda Palace and Navnagar Palace),
Government museum, Deer park, Doddapetta (the highest
peak in the Nilgiri's). Coonoor is another hill station
about 19 kilometers away from Ooty, and at an altitude
of 1858 meters above sea level. Tea estates surround
this hill station. Sims Park is the pride of this place.
From Coonoor one can visit Lambs, rock, Loz falls,
Ralliah Dam, Ketti Valley. |
