:: KERALA - WATER FALLS

Palaruvi :This waterfall falls in the border of Kerala and Tamilnadu. Its access is 35 kilometers east of Punalur on the Quilon - Shenkottah road. It is near Ariankavu mountain pass. 5 kilometers away is the spectacular Palaruvi waterfall at an attitude of 300 ft. There you can see ruins of ancient temples. The water is said to be medicated as it flows down from the forest .

Athirapally
78 kilometers from Cochin, this scintillating waterfall is a popular tourist spot.

Perumthenaruvi
The access of Perumthenaruvi is nearly 50 Km from Kottayam. This falls in the district of Pathanamthitta where the mountain temple Sabarimala is situated. This is a famous waterfall. Here, the water flows down a rocky bed into a ravine, sixty to a hundred feet deep. There is no transportation service so a 4 Km trek is required.
