Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), Bangalore
is a society under the Ministry of Information Technology,
Govt of India. Recognizing the immense potential
of the Indian Software Industry, the Ministry of
Information Technology (MIT), Govt. of India brought
out in 1986, a policy document on "Computer
Software Export, Software Development and Training".
Subsequently, in 1990, the Ministry of Information
Technology (MIT), Govt. of India, formulated the
Software Technology Park (STP) scheme to promote & facilitate
software exports from India. Offering new fiscal
incentives, state-of-the-art infrastructure and an
investor friendly environment, the scheme has contributed

Infopark is a mega project of the Kerala State IT Mission to promote IT ventures in the state. Kerala State IT Mission is the autonomous nodal IT implementation agency for the Department of IT, Government of Kerala.
