KERALA :-

Trekking & Camping :
The itineraries will take you to periyar tiger reserve and then through the mountain roads to munnar. Retreat to a camp as you pitch your tent in the periyar tiger reserve under the guidance and care of experts. Trek through the forests for 3 days wherein you will be relocating your camping sites eachday.

Bamboo rafts will take you across the lake while you move 20 - 30 kms a day.

The experience will leave you absolutely in awe of the majesty of the tropical jungle and an experience of a life time. At munnar, you will be camping for 2 days at altitudes of over 7000 feet and experience the uniqueness of the shola-grassland eco systems.

The thickly forested and imposing mountains of Kerala offer adventure tourism a natural advantage and challenge. The Western Ghats mountain ranges dominate the eastern border of Kerala, in India. For centuries these thickly forested & imposing mountains acted as natural barriers for this narrow stretch of land. It is therefore natural that these mountain ranges have some of the most spectacular trekking routes for those in search of pure adventure

The forests of the Periyar tiger reserve and the mountains of Munnar make the journey an affair to be remembered.

The Periyar tiger reserve 180 kms from Kochi, the commercial capital of Kerala, is a thichky forested wildlife sanctuary teeming with wildlife. Rare glimpses of life in a tropical forest will greet the traveller, where you may chance upon the enchanting flying squirrels, herds of elephants or even the tiger. The sighting of birds such as the malabar pied hornbill or the crested serpent eagle or even butterflies like the malabar tree nymph will enrich this experience…

The journey from here to Munnar takes you through rough mountain roads, passing through the caradamom plantations which produce most of the world's caradamom. On the mountains of munnar you will have a chance to witness the peaceful world of the shola-grasslands at over 7000 feet! Some of well known adventure sports of Kerala are Backwater biking, bird tours, canoeing, hiking and biking, trekking, water sports and wildlife tours.

GOA :-
Water Sports in Goa : Blessed with rivers, backwaters and a long coastline, Goa is ideally located for water sport activities like sailing, para sailing, wind surfing, etc.

Skim the waves. Surf the seas. Float across the skies. The fabulous golden Goan coast is sprinkled with water sports excitements from windsurfing to paragliding. John Lucas, an Englishman, who first came to Goa in the early 70s like thousands of other westerners on a spiritual journey, found his heaven here in Goa. Being a keen windsurfer, the next time he came back to Goa, he had with him, his board and rig. And the trend for water sports in Goa was set.

Water Skiing in Goa : For the speed-lovers Goa offers the thrills of venturing into the sea on speedboats. The high-class speedboats which are available in some places, can achieve speeds of up to 30-40 miles an hour.

These crafts, which can carry between six to eight people, are available at the Cidade de Goa, Bogmallo Beach Resort, and Taj Hotels. They can be conveniently used for sightseeing as well as water-skiing. Even if Goa isn't having any magnificent coral reefs, still it boasts with a variety of fascinating marine life.

Windsurfing in Goa :Windsurfing is a unique blend of surfing and sailing, which requires the surfer to adjust his strength and balance to the changing patterns of wind and water. To the expert who has honed himself in all these nuances, windsurfing can indeed be an exhilarating experience.

Windsurfing trainers and experts alike claim Dona Paula bay to be the ideal location for the beginners. The prevailing winds and the calm sea, ensure almost lake-like conditions. The morning breeze is light and steady - just right for learners; while stronger winds that set in during the afternoons offer a perfect challenge for the more experienced

Parasailing in Goa :High fliers amongst the speed lovers can opt for parasailing. Both the Taj and Bogmallo Resort hotels provide the necessary equipment for this enthralling sport.

There's a rope about 300 feet long attached to the parasail harness at one end and to the speedboat at the other.

When the boat speeds off on the water, the parasailor just takes one or two steps and he is lifted into the air, the parasail lifting behind him.. | More Info |
